Strength Starts Here

STRENGTH STARTS HERE.

Wheatbelt Strength is a gym where strength is the goal, community is the vibe, and no one cares how much you lift—only that you show up.

You don’t have to know what you’re doing. You just have to show up.

Wheatbelt Strength is where you come to get strong—physically, mentally, whatever that looks like for you. No mirrors, no egos, no one watching to see if you ‘belong.’ If you want a place that knows its stuff, backs you to win, and actually makes training fun, you’re in the right spot.

You don’t have to be fit to start.

Gyms can be intimidating.

Too many of them make strength training feel like it’s only for a certain type of person—lean, fit, already confident.

That’s bullshit.

Wheatbelt Strength was built because strong isn’t a look—it’s what your body can do. Whether you’re here to lift heavy, feel better in your body, or prove to yourself that you can, this is your space.

We don’t care how much you lift. We care that you turn up, put in the work, and feel like you belong.

We stand for:

🟡 Strength Over Aesthetics: Train for what your body can do, not just how it looks.
🟡 Expert Coaching: Real advice, no fluff, no toxic fitness culture.
🟡 Community First: This is a team, not just a gym.
🟡 Strength is for Everyone: No experience? No worries. We’ve got you.

I’m Kate - National-level powerlifting competitor, certified Personal Trainer and Sports Nutrition coach, and the founder of Wheatbelt Strength & Conditioning.

I opened Wheatbelt Strength in May 2022 to bring evidence-based, strength-focused training to Narrogin and the wider Wheatbelt. Since then, the gym has grown into a larger facility designed to support people who want to train properly, build resilience, and feel capable in their bodies - not chase quick fixes or fitness trends.

My coaching is grounded in strength training, long-term health, and realistic programming for real lives. Whether someone is new to lifting or returning to training after years away, my focus is on helping them build confidence, physical capacity, and consistency that lasts.

Outside the gym, I’m a mum of four, a wife, and part of the WA farming community. I moved to Australia from Canada over 20 years ago, and I understand firsthand the demands of rural life - which is why Wheatbelt Strength is built to be practical, supportive, and sustainable for the people who live here.

wheatbelt strength is built different.

Strength training isn’t about punishment. It’s not about being the ‘fittest’ person in the room. It’s about feeling capable, powerful, and backed by a solid crew.

Come train. See what it’s about.
